a Victorian brownstone that had last seen a remodel in the 1980s, this gut renovation on a landmark block in Bed-Stuy involved a painstaking restoration of original parquet flooring, preservation of Victorian medallions in the ceiling, crown moldings, and wainscoting in the walls. The layout underwent a complete re-haul and a seashell-inspired pocket bath was whittled out of unused under-stair space. The exterior was carefully restored to landmark standards and gardens were lovingly planted in the front and rear outdoor space.
